Persistent non-tender swelling of the lip and/or face
Histologically, non-caseating granulomatous inflammation; biopsy of mucosal (inner) lip preferred
Both primary (idiopathic) and secondary subtypes
Primary OFG includes cheilitis granulomatosa and Melkersson–
Rosenthal syndrome while secondary OFG includes sarcoidosis, foreign body reactions, and Crohn disease
