本章將涵蓋數種皮膚血管系統的疾患，包括網狀青斑（livedo reticularis）、潮紅（flushing）與紅斑性肢痛症（erythromelalgia），以及血管擴張性病變如微血管擴張（telangiectasias）與靜脈湖（venous lakes）。此處所描述的部分疾病是全身性疾病的重要皮膚徵象，其他則屬偶然發現。其他血管疾患在他處討論，例如嬰兒血管瘤（infantile hemangiomas，第 103 章）、血管畸形（vascular malformations，第 104 章），以及血管性腫瘤與增生（vascular neoplasms and proliferations，第 114 章）。
