未來趨勢 (FUTURE TRENDS)

毛囊的再生 (regeneration) 與複製 (cloning) 代表著毛髮移植革命性進展的下一步。若能有無限量的毛髮供應,就不再受限於供區毛髮的密度。目前已能以培養的真皮乳頭細胞 (dermal papilla cells) 誘導角質形成細胞的管狀生成 (keratinocyte tubulogenesis);骨髓與臍帶來源的間質幹細胞 (mesenchymal stem cells) 已被證實可作為毛囊再生的儲庫;而表皮創傷併隨 Wnt 蛋白的上調,可在成年小鼠皮膚中引發毛囊再生。此外,已發現紅血球生成素 (erythropoietin) 可促進真皮乳頭細胞的生長,並延長培養的人類毛囊的生長期 (anagen phase)。最後,目前利用 AGA 小鼠模型進行的研究,應可提供對疾病機轉與治療的洞見。
