續發性皮膚黏液沉積症(SECONDARY CUTANEOUS MUCINOSES)

續發性皮膚黏液沉積症包括所有黏液素沉積僅代表額外組織學發現、而非主要特徵的疾病。作為一種附帶現象,廣泛的發炎性疾病與腫瘤可能在表皮與/或真皮內或毛囊單位內有黏液素沉積。續發性黏液沉積症概述於表 46.3。

(血管)黏液瘤是真正的腫瘤(雖為良性),在不完全切除後可能復發。當(血管)黏液瘤位於生殖器區域時,需與侵襲性血管黏液瘤(aggressive angiomyxoma)區分,後者是一種罕見腫瘤,具有局部復發的潛能,並極罕見地有遠端轉移的潛能。侵襲性血管黏液瘤通常對雌激素與黃體素受體染色呈陽性,且其特徵為不同的血管成分,血管壁厚度不一。
