- 需監測肝功能檢查與血清 creatinine。
- 可導致嚴重高同半胱胺酸血症 (severe hyperhomocysteinemia)，可能因抑制血基質依賴性酵素 cystathionine-β-synthase（同半胱胺酸代謝的重要酵素），進而造成蛋白質 N-homocysteinylation。
